My review :
Hello everyone ! If you’ve read my about me page, you know that I have to rewrite all my reviews following a technical problem. It’s quite tricky as it’s been a while since I’ve read most of the books. If you’ve spent some time on the blog, you also might have noticed that I tend to review books that I loved. It doesn’t mean that I’ve loved all my reads but I don’t see the point in detailing why I hated/disliked a book. Well, it depends. Sometimes I need to vent haha. Anyways, all of this to let you know that all my ratings (good and bad) are available on my Goodreads profile.

Let’s get back to Smut by Karina Halle. I’ve liked every previous book I read by her but this one is my favorite!

What attracted me to this book :

  • The topic of writing
  • Ennemis to lovers is one of my favorite trope in Romance

Can you keep a secret?
– Sophie Kinsella

Genre : Chick-lit, Romantic comedy
Rating : ♥♥♥

My review  : Can you keep a secret ? is an enjoyable read.
I spent a really good time with this chick-lit like every time I open a Kinsella‘s. I recommend for a stress-free and funny moment.

Female characters in Kinsella‘s books are always endearing and very funny and it’s the case for Emma as well. The secrets Emma has are those of every woman. I think each one of us can identify to Emma at some point.

My review

Okay, so I’m a sucker for ‘best-friends turn to lovers’ stories but I must admit… I’ve never, ever read anything as good as this. I’m not talking about the writing style (it was really great) but that’s not what made that story special. It was the storyline, the perfection of each characters, the cuteness, the depth, the realism of each and every moment…I literally just put down that book, and I’m still overwhelmed.

I know I shouldn’t write my thoughts about this book at this very minute because it’s still so fresh, I’m not being really objective but I will act against my best thoughts and do it anyway because a book that made me feel so much deserves a heartfelt review…

The story

Carter and Arizona have been best friends since fourth grade, nope, fifth grade… Anyway, you’ll get the answer in the story. They’ve never crossed the line despite what everyone else think. Until one particular night.

My review

I just finished Be My December by Rachel Brookes.
At first, when I read the synopsis, it didn’t really appeal to me but then I read reviews and got curious. I won this book in a giveaway, for which I thank the author again.

The story

If I had to describe Eden and Ky’s story in one word, it would be : INTENSE.

Eden faced a more than traumatic experience when she was 20, since then it had been difficult for her to live as she used to so she keeps pretending to be someone different everytime and comes up with rules that seems really strange at the beginning but well, we kind of get it at some point…
